What is Carie?
Carie is a family-support product designed to combine practical AI guidance for parents with real human mentoring for children ages 8–15. This website is a preview: the examples are scripted, and the scan uses deterministic reflection templates.
What does a human mentor do?
A real person listens to your child’s perspective and helps them choose something to practice. Sessions are 30 minutes, online. Mentoring is included in the membership, not an AI-triggered upsell.
What if my child isn’t ready?
Start with your own small experiment. Explain what a mentor does, and let your child decide whether they want to try it. They are not automatically contacted or enrolled. Unused credits expire at the end of their paid period.
What happens in the first week?
Choose a parent-side step, offer a mentor introduction if your child is willing, and reflect on what happened. The first 7 days include 1 mentor-session credit. A genuine suitable session must be available before live payment.
What will I pay, and when?
$7.90 USD for your first 7 days. Then $99 USD/month, automatically until canceled. Cancel renewal online before your next charge.
Do unused mentor credits roll over?
No. The introductory credit expires at the end of the first 7 days. The 4 monthly credits expire at the end of that billing month. Sessions must take place before the credit expires.
How do I cancel?
The upcoming membership will include online renewal cancellation before the next charge. Enrollment is not open, and no subscription is created here. The existing founding-family pilot is a separate one-time purchase with no renewal.
How is this different from a general-purpose chatbot?
Carie is designed around real parenting moments and human mentoring for your child. The proposed membership gives you a place to think through a next step and your child a real person to work with.
What can the scan tell me?
It offers a starting idea based on what you report. It cannot know your child’s intentions, diagnose a condition, or provide a full picture. Other explanations are possible; ask your child what fits.
What is shared about my family?
This preview keeps scan answers in this browser tab for up to 24 hours. It does not send them to a mentor, account, email service, or analytics provider. Live sharing and retention policies still require approval.
Who is it for, and where?
The proposed launch is for adult parents or guardians of children ages 8–15 in the United States. This is not a therapy, emergency-response, or device-monitoring service.
What if there isn’t an introductory session?
You will not be asked to pay without suitable introductory availability. If a promised introductory session cannot be supplied after purchase, the proposed recovery is an intro-charge refund and prevention of an unwanted renewal. Operational approval is required before launch.
